Project B's Gram Quilt

This project was started last November (2015) while on holiday with my youngest daughter to visit my mum (Grams). As we where sitting and chatting and looking at all the quilts my mum had in her shop, B mentioned she had never had a 'Grams's Quilt". My mum took her straight into the fabric room and demanded she pick out fabric, then into the work room to pick out a pattern. We then spent the next few days learning how to cut out and piece a quilt,

On my recent trip to help mum after her illness, we set to finishing it.

 

With lots of help from Ginger Snap, we managed to finish it up, and ship it to Australia to be quilted and given to Miss B, who loves it.
