Block 25 - Sunday Best

The design of this block had a handsome bunny holding a flower. It was really cute, but I didn't feel it was a good fit for me. It was however Mothers Day, and my mum had been rushed to the hospital. Being overseas, it is not easy to send flowers, so I made these for her.

Spent the day with no power due to a storm in the wee hours of the morning. Had my trust usb light and it was enough to get this square done.

Paper piercing is getting easier and it makes for a precise square. I am enjoying it.

Fun little project - Thread Bag

A fun little project one of the ladies at the WQ&S brought along to do. I found the instructions confusing and had to use the seam ripper a couple of times. Sewing on the bottoms was also difficult,

Always wondered how the little flaps on squares worked and this one was a great introduction to them. It was a definite learning curve experience.

On a Roll and finished this one, except for the embroidery. Think I will try to find some of the cloth measuring tape to put onto it to finish it off.
