Christmas Projects 2018

This year I spent some time and made a lot of my christmas presents. It was fun and keep me distracted.

Christmas Trees made from yo-yos. It was easy and fun to do.

The Christmas postcard I made for the WQ&S exchange,

these lovely folded stars,

 and some more Christmas coasters.

Quilting projects over the years and...

... through the generations

My mum had made the 6 squares of this quilt many years ago and never got around to doing anything with them. I saw them and had an idea, so she gave them to me.

I designed this to incorporate them and use some of the fabric I have gotten over the years. I was very happy with it, as you can see in my face here. I had plans to use it myself as a lap rug while watching TV as it get rather chilly here in the winter.

I showed it to my husband, and his face lit up. He loved it, so I gave it to him.

Christmas Decorations

Over the years I have made many fun things for Christmas. I thought this year, as I put them all away, I'd make a record of them here.

First, the stockings. Mine was made by my Mum. I made my husband one and when each of my girls came along, I made one for them.
