Anzac Quilt 2018

Done by RSL Stitchers

Marilyn, Liz, Kayleen and I got an idea to make the local RSL, that we spend 2-3 mornings a months stitching and having coffee and lunch, as  thank you to them.

With the scraps,  made a runner for my holiday self and one for Miss B

Baby Quilt from long ago

For Richard, my husbands Godson

I was going through the photos and found a photo of this quilt I did in the early 1980s. We where on our way to Australia and found the little sheep skin boots. We presented them to friends Bruce and Katha for the addition to their family.

Great Nephew (inlaw) Quilt

My husband, Kelley, helped me design this baby quilt for his nephew Cory's new son Nolan. it was started in 2017. My husband's health turned bad, and after getting over the shock and horror of his death, I finished this quilt and sent it to him. It is a bit crazy for a baby quilt, but I loved it.

Issues with quilting

My mother has been quilting for many years, so involved with it that she owned a quilting shop and sourced fabrics for her self and her friends. She has also had at least one cat as long as I can remember. She is forever posting photos of GingerSnap (her latest companion) and her antics at "helping" with the making of quilts.

Today, after finishing these 3 squares for  my current project,

I went to iron them open, to store them until they are needed. Meet Klaxon, my ironing helper.
