Interesting Idea for a Square. The centre salvage is not one from my stash but one from the fabric we used on the Veteran's Quilt made for my Nephew-in-law, Jeff. The rest are from my stash, and as I didn't know to save it, it is very scrappy.

With this one done, I am only six behind, but I have been working on other stuff, so I don't feel too bad.

The was no yellow in my stash, so I tried it this way. I think my seams are not exact but I like the idea.

Fun to do, hard to balance the colours. I look at it and I really want to add a yo-yo for the centre.

Blossoming

This was a beautiful pattern, and I wanted to take my time doing it justice. 

I used the Cottage Garden Threads, using the colour guide and picking one that was a close match. Green (Ash 201), Blue (Bonnie Brook 415), Turquoise (Murray Pine 1204), Gold (Butter Bean 312), Brown (Clay 1096) and Red (Hugs n' Kisses 1007). I love the way the add depth to the images.

Helping Mum with a couple of her UFOs

My mum hates to waste time, even when she is just out of twos in hospital and should be taking it easy and recovering. Her relaxing time evolves finishing up some UFOs. This one for my grand niece, so I helped out by putting on the binding.

The stunning quilting is done bu a friend of my mum's and I love how she works the design if the quilt in to the quilting pattern.

While I was working on this square, my Mum surprised me by working on a pair of lovely coasters, one for me and one for her. Stunning pattern that I will have to try out some day. Thanks Mum, I love it.
