Great Nephew (inlaw) Quilt
My husband, Kelley, helped me design this baby quilt for his nephew Cory's new son Nolan. it was started in 2017. My husband's health turned bad, and after getting over the shock and horror of his death, I finished this quilt and sent it to him. It is a bit crazy for a baby quilt, but I loved it.

Dear Jane 56 triangles in one night
56 triangles in one night
Now that is something I never thought I could accomplish in one night, working on the Dear Jane quilt, 56 triangles. Ok, well, it might be just the plan triangles for around the outside, but it still sounds impressive. I am getting to the end of the quilt. Feels so good, and I have a renewed vigor for getting it finished.

New Hexagon Project
Needed some hand sewing once I had finished the hand sewing on the Dear Jane, so I have started a New Hexagon quilt using the EPPIFLEX English Paper Piecing Templates supplied by Quilting Patch blocks of the month method.
Miss C helped me to come up with a colour chart for this project and while I wanted to use just my stash, I will have to get a couple mote Aqua pieces to give it some variety.
There are 52 hexagons in the book, with 4 patterns coming every month. I already have 5 done and looking forward to doing the rest.

Dear Jane Update
Update as at September 6th, 2018
Well, that's it. All square and triangles are done. The project was started in January of 2017 so that is eighteen months and my goal of 2 year to finish this quilt seems like it can be done. I'm very happy about this.
To finish off the quilt I am using the quilt as you go method by row. I do have 8 rows quilted in this manner so far and will start again on these.
You can view all the pieces from this summary page. In the photos, the pieces have not been trimmed yet, so they look scruffy, but they will all be trimmed and sewed together soon.
